Robbery try/arrest : A man, 29, was arrested late Friday and charged with the attempted armed robbery of another man in the victim's apartment in the first block of St. Elmo Court about 11:40 p.m. that night. Shortly after the victim, 56, reported the incident, police observed a red Toyota wanted in the incident not far from the scene and arrested the driver. Charged with armed attempted robbery was Julio Linares-Amaya of the 100 block of Penny Lane in Cockeysville. Police said a knife was used in the attempted robbery.

Franklin

Vandalism : Police were seeking whoever broke into a vacant apartment in the 100 block of Carraway Road between Friday and Saturday and destroyed several walls.

Pikesville

Burglary: Two bicycles were stolen between Friday and Saturday from the rear patio of a house in the 3900 block of Princely Lane. The bikes had a combined value of $255.

Woodlawn

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the first block of Temons Court on Thursday and stole video games, their accessories, a gold watch and a gold ring. Total value of the property was nearly $2,000.
