Articles published in yesterday's and Monday's editions of The Sun incorrectly reported the name of the owner of Obsidian Realty Co., a Baltimore real estate brokerage whose employees tipped off the FBI to a wanted fugitive suspected of abducting his daughter from Boston. The owner is Henry J. MacLaughlin Jr.

An item about the Terrapin Run housing development from the Associated Press published in the July 29 editions of The Sun incorrectly reported that the state Department of Planning has endorsed proposed legislation that would reverse a court ruling favoring the project. The department says that it has not taken a position on the proposed bill.

The Sun regrets the errors.
