Workshops to help seniors lower their energy bills

Baltimore Gas and Electric officials will help senior citizens save money on their energy bills at a series of workshops at county senior centers.

The workshops will offer tips on ways to save energy on home gas and electric bills. There will be gift bags and door prizes at the workshops.

Presentations this month will be offered at 1 p.m. Thursday, at Parkville Senior Center; 11 a.m. Aug. 11 at Seven Oaks; 9:30 a.m. Aug. 12 at Lansdowne; 1 p.m. Aug. 12 at Fleming; 10 a.m. Aug. 15 at Bykota in Towson; 12:45 p.m. Aug. 15 at Pikesville; 10:30 a.m. Aug. 18 at Catonsville; 10:30 a.m. Aug. 27 at Rosedale; 12:30 p.m. Aug. 28 at Overlea; 9 a.m. Aug. 29 at Victory Villa; and 10:30 a.m. Aug. 29 at Edgemere.
