Makeda Crane

Makeda Crane is a native New Yorker who has made Baltimore her home for the past 10 years. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Crane is also a published spoken-word artist and writer who works in The Sun's editorial department. For this issue of UniSun, she updates us on Devon Brown, a student of the Boys of Baraka school in Kenya. See Page 14.

Harold T. Fisher

A former anchor for WBFF-TV's Fox 45 Morning News, Harold T. Fisher is a freelance reporter for WHUR-FM in Washington. For this issue, he writes about former gospel radio announcer Gavin Montgomery, who has Parkinson's disease. See Page 12.

Ericka Blount Danois

Ericka Blount Danois is a native of Washington who lives in Baltimore. She has written for regional publications, including Baltimore magazine and The Washington Post. In this edition, Danois writes about the men and women who tell African-American folk tales in an effort to pass on the race's legacy. See Page 10.

Mischa Green

Mischa Green is the founder of Black Love Talk, a social group that meets to discuss solutions to problems in the black family. She is also an author, motivational speaker and radio-show host. She writes in her First Person Essay about how she had to heal from a broken marriage to find love a second time. See Page 18.
