Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Robbery try/shooting: A 37-year-old man was walking in the 3600 block of Parkside Drive about 9 p.m. Thursday when a gunman demanded his money and property. During the incident, the victim was shot in the right arm, and the gunman fled on foot without money or property. The victim was taken by a city Fire Department ambulance to Johns Hopkins Hospital for treatment and was expected to survive. Anyone with information is urged to call the district detective unit at 410-396-2444.

Baltimore County


Burglary: Someone broke into an apartment in the first block of Glenwood Road between July 8 and Thursday and stole stereo equipment, several pairs of shoes and fishing equipment. Total value of the property was nearly $700.


Robbery: Two women, one 19 and the other 25, were walking along Rolling Road near Munford Road about 2 a.m. Thursday when a man armed with a shotgun robbed them of $23, a purse, a backpack, a Wendy's T-shirt and jewelry. The man then told the women to run. After the victims ran about 15 feet, the gunman ordered them to the ground and fled. There were no injuries and no arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call the precinct at 410-887-1340.
