Man found fatally shot in city

A man found bleeding last night in the 1200 block of Orleans St. in East Baltimore died a short time later at Johns Hopkins Hospital, a Police Department spokesman said.

Agent Donny Moses said the victim, whose name was withheld pending notification of family members, was found by officers about 6 p.m. He had been shot at least once in the chest. No arrest had been made.

Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and an indictment in the killing.
