Baltimore

Central

Robbery: Police were seeking two robbers who took a man's wallet and cell phone about midnight Sunday as the victim walked at Cloverdale Road and Madison Avenue near the Druid Lake reservoir. Anyone with information is urged to call the district's robbery squad at 410-396-2411.

Baltimore County

Parkville

Burglary: Police believe the same person broke into two houses in the 2400 block of Ellis Road between Thursday and Sunday. At one house, the intruder stole a 40-piece set of silver cutlery valued at $1,000. At the second dwelling, a rear screen door valued at $50 was destroyed and several rooms were ransacked, but no property was reported missing.

Cockeysville

Burglary/arrest : Police responding to a burglary in progress in the first block of Beaver Run Court about 11:30 p.m. Saturday caught a man removing copper parts from an exterior air-conditioning unit. Basil Bradford, 42, of no fixed address was arrested and charged with burglary and theft.

Franklin

Assault: A woman, 50, was leaving her garage in the 800 block of Berryman's Lane about 3:20 a.m. Sunday when she was struck from behind by a man who threw her to the ground and tried to choke her. The man fled, and nothing appeared to be have been stolen. The woman was not seriously injured.

Pikesville

Burglary: The owner of a vacant house in the 7800 block of Selgrave Road went to the dwelling July 22 and discovered that someone had removed an external air-conditioning unit valued at $3,500. The woman reported the incident Sunday.

Wilkens

Burglary: An air compressor, a miter saw and several drill bits were stolen Saturday or Sunday from a garage in the 500 block of Hilton Ave.
