Purchasing manager, anthem singer
Baltimore native Zevi Daniel won ESPN Zone's Star-Spangled Sing-Off on July 8 at the Baltimore ESPN Zone after he impressed judges with his rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner." Although he is nervous about starting on the proper key, Daniel will open the Aug. 26 Orioles versus Chicago White Sox game in Baltimore by singing the national anthem.
Daniel is a purchasing manager for Advanced Defense Technologies. He lives in Pikesville with his wife, Shoshy, son Eli, 3, and daughter Kayla, 1.
Day out with my little boy
"Maybe Ravens training camp. He looks quite intimidating in his Ray Lewis jersey."
Sunday concert/picnic at Ladew Gardens
"We have tried to go a few times this summer but rain canceled our plans."
"I enjoy singing but I'd love some power and stamina. If the O's are looking to hire a full-time anthem singer, this would probably boost my prospects!"
Family trip to Israel (with a full-time nanny)
"I haven't been back in eight years and a nanny for our two kids would make it a perfect vacation for my wife and I. Oh, and I'll bring the scooter."
"I have a local commute so this would be ideal. Nothing fancy like a Vespa, just one of those that gets 100 MPG."
