Reed, McAlister are among several listed with injuries

A number of players are expected to attend Harry Rolle's funeral today in Florida. Wide receiver Derrick Mason, one of Samari Rolle's closest friends on the team, was slated to speak to the media today but elected to talk yesterday so that he could attend the funeral.

Beginning Monday, groups of players will not be available for autographs or interviews after practice because of a new weightlifting regimen. On Monday, offensive and defensive linemen will head to the weight room immediately after practice. Linebackers, running backs, safeties, tight ends and kickers are the next group, and quarterbacks, wide receivers and cornerbacks are the final group. ... To fill the roster spot created by the release of fullback Jake Nordin, the team signed former Washington Redskins wide receiver Darnerien McCants (Arundel). ...
