Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Theft/arrest : A boy, 15, was arrested Friday when he tried to leave Filene's Basement in the 600 block of E. Pratt St. without paying for two shirts valued at $30. The boy was being held at the city's Juvenile Detention Center.

Burglary : Someone broke into Angel's Rock Bar in the first block of Market Place through a wall early Friday and stole $1,600 worth of alcoholic beverages.

Stolen vehicle : A motorized scooter with no tags was stolen Friday in the 1800 of Pennsylvania Ave.

Stolen vehicle : A 2001 Honda Civic with tags 9CT H20 was parked in the 1100 block of W. North Ave. Friday.


Theft : A woman, 18, was watching two men fight in the 1000 block of W. Baltimore St. about 1 a.m. Friday when someone stole her purse.


Theft: A 5-month-old pit bull named Prada with an identification number SPCA 5716097 tattooed on the inside of his left leg was stolen Saturday morning from outside a house in the 2200 block of McElderry St.

Theft: Someone broke into a 1988 Honda parked in the 1600 block of Miller St. between June 29 and Friday and stole a military-style glove, $5 in coins and $25 worth of postage stamps.

Theft : A Global Positioning System device valued at $400 was stolen Friday from a 1997 Honda Civic parked in the 1200 block of N. Collington Ave

Baltimore County


Burglary: Police were seeking whoever entered the swimming pool area in the 400 block of Cherry Hill Road and threw 20 lounge chairs into the water.


Burglary : A laptop computer, cash and video games were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 5900 block of Queen Anne St. The property was valued at nearly $2,400.
