Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Shooting: An unidentified man was shot in the stomach at Mosher and North Calhoun streets about 7:45 p.m. Monday and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Details of the shooting and his condition were not available.

Stabbing: Two teenage boys were eating fruit on the front steps of a house in the 2300 block of Whittier Ave. about 3 p.m. Monday when they began throwing the remnants at a homeless man walking nearby. After confronting the teens, the man left. He returned a few minutes later with two other men and an altercation with the boys occurred, during which a 14-year-old boy was stabbed in the right side. The three men fled. Police said the wounded boy was taken to an area hospital, where emergency room physicians used eight staples to close the wound. No arrests had been made.


Stolen vehicle : A champagne-colored, four-door 1995 Toyota Corolla with tags 9BDY87 was stolen Friday in the 1000 block of N. Calvert St.

Robbery : A man, 68, was walking in the 1000 block of W. North Ave. about 4 p.m. Saturday when a man who appeared to be armed with a handgun robbed him of more than $200. No weapon was displayed, but the robber threatened to shoot the victim if he resisted.
