Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Shooting : A woman was shot in the side of the body about 2:20 p.m. yesterday in the 4400 block of Park Heights Ave. by an unknown assailant and was taken by a city Fire Department ambulance to Sinai Hospital. Police said the woman was expected to survive and that details were not available.


Shooting: A man, 20, was shot in the lower back inside a house in the 900 block of N. Broadway about 8 p.m. Wednesday and was taken by a friend to Johns Hopkins Hospital. His condition was not available.

Baltimore County

North Point

Burglary: Someone entered Evans Auto Sales in the 3800 block of North Point Blvd. between June 12 and Tuesday and removed a 2000 Honda dirt bike valued at $1,143 from a storage area.

Robbery try : A man, 42, was inside his home in the 100 block of Roger Cockrell Court in Turners Station about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday when he heard his wife yelling from outside the house. When the husband left the house, he was accosted by a gunman who demanded his money. The gunman fled without robbing the husband when the wife said the police were on their way.


Burglary: A flat-screen TV and several other pieces of electronics were stolen Wednesday from an apartment in the first block of Fitzgerald Court.
