The Community College of Baltimore County's polysomnographic technologist certificate program has received accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, in partnership with Sleep Services of America Inc.

By 2012, all registered polysomnographic technologist exam candidates will be required to have completed a CAAHEP-accredited sleep technology program.

Quarter auction set at senior center

The Cockeysville Senior Center will hold a quarter auction Saturday at 10535 York Road.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $3.

Har Sinai has new cantor

Har Sinai Congregation in Owings Mills has hired Ellen Schwab as its new cantor. She begins her duties Tuesday, and her first service will be at 6:15 p.m. July 4, with Rabbi Emeritus Floyd Herman.
