Police seek suspect in burglary
County police are asking for help finding a suspect in the burglary of a home in White Marsh and for questioning in six other burglaries, authorities said.
Police said they have obtained a warrant for McClayton Daniels, 42, whose address is unknown.
The burglary took place during the day April 18 when the house in the first block of Manor Ave. was unoccupied, authorities said. When police arrived, they found that a back kitchen door had a glass panel broken where entry was made. A laptop computer and several items of jewelry estimated to be worth a total of more than $4,000 were removed, police said.
Detectives said they found some of the jewelry at a pawnshop in Baltimore City. The victim was able to positively identify the jewelry, and detectives obtained the warrant for Daniels.
Investigators believe that Daniels may be responsible for several other burglaries in which similar items have been stolen. These burglaries occurred June 7 in the 1700 block of Weyburn Road; June 8 in the 1500 block of National Road; June 9 in the 6000 block of Mannington Ave.; June 10 in the 1900 block of Weyburn Road; June 13 in the 5100 block of McFaul Road; and June 17 in the 5700 block of Van Dyke Road.

Meeting set Monday about new housing
A community meeting about the proposed construction of 15 houses in the Perry Hall area is set for Monday.
The single-family homes would be built on a nearly 18-acre property on the north side of Forge Road, west of Hidden Valley.

Osteoporosis programs slated
The county's 19 senior centers will offer a program on women's bone health and osteoporosis this summer.
The program will include information on prevention, early detection, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis.
