*Crosby Marketing Communications announced the appointments of Matthew Kilmurry as interactive project manager and Fred Jorgensen as vice president of interactive services for the Annapolis-based regional firm.

*Cleo Communications promoted Renee Libby to public relations account executive for the Baltimore agency. She formerly was with Costa DeVault.

*gkv appointed Jen Katz and Kerry Flanagan as senior account executives and named Melissa Schantz as an assistant account executive and Brandy Albracht as a traffic supervisor.

*Lentigen Corp. announced the selection of Jim Meade as vice president of corporate development for the Baltimore-based biotechnology company. He has responsibility for development of partnerships, stakeholder relations, product and intellectual property portfolios. He formerly was with Avalon Pharmaceuticals.

Hospitality and tourism

*Marriott International Inc. appointed Stephanie Coleman Linnartz as senior vice president of global sales for the Bethesda-based hotel operator and franchiser.


*United Way of Central Maryland announced that Sandy Monck has joined the staff as senior vice president of the community impact division. She formerly was with Baltimore County government as coordinator of homeless services.

*Cannon Design appointed Susan R. Hinz as an interior designer for the Baltimore-based architectural engineering firm.
