Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Church burglary : Someone broke into Holy Spirit Holiness Church in the 3800 block of Eastern Ave. through a glass door Saturday, entered a room on the second floor and stole a computer, a cell phone and a printer. Total value of the property was $800.

Stolen vehicle : A purple 2000 Saturn with New York tag DGC5149 was stolen Saturday in the 1600 block of Aliceanna St.

Stolen vehicle : A man entered St. Vincent de Paul School in the 200 block of S. Patterson Park Ave. on Friday, removed a set of keys from a woman's purse, went back outside and stole the woman's black 2008 Pontiac with tags 2DS N12.

Stolen vehicle : Police were seeking a red 1996 Toyota Celica with tags HMV 506 that was stolen Friday in the 300 block of Gusryan St.

Theft : A GPS device valued at $200 and clothing valued at $50 were stolen over the weekend from a 2006 Kia parked in the 2900 block of Aliceanna St.


Burglary: A refrigerator, a stove, two TVs, two sinks, and a ceiling fan were stolen between June 16 and Friday from a house in the 1600 block of N. Gay St. by someone who entered through a kitchen door.

Theft : A 27-inch, 18-speed mountain bike was chained to a pole outside a community center in the 3000 block of E. Madison St. on Friday when someone removed all but the front wheel.

Theft : Copper wiring valued at $1,000 was stolen over the weekend from a construction site in the 3800 block of E. Biddle St.

Stolen vehicle : After a woman left her keys on the front porch of her home in the 400 block of N. Castle St. on Saturday, someone stole the keys and then stole her gold 1995 Nissan Maxima with tags 3DE T42.

Robbery: A man, 53, was walking in the 700 block of N. Port St. about 4 a.m. Saturday when two men, one armed with a handgun, forced him into an alley and robbed him of $120.


Drug arrest : After Officer Edwin G. Albino made a routine traffic stop in the 2400 block of St. Paul St. about 5 p.m. Saturday, he searched the car and found at least 6 pounds of marijuana in the trunk. Arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana was Justin Patchette, 23, of the 3200 block of Juneau Place.

Burglary : A cutting torch, an AM-FM radio and a backpack leaf blower were stolen over the weekend from the Baltimore Zoo conservatory in the 3100 block of Swan Drive. Entry was through a window.

Robbery: Two men, one 29 and the other 31, were seated in a car stopped in an alley in the 2900 block of Oakfield Ave. about 3 a.m. Saturday when three men, one armed with a handgun, robbed them of an undisclosed sum of money and several pieces of jewelry.

Burglary : Someone broke into God's Little Angels Day-Care in the 6200 block of Kenwood Ave. through a rear door Saturday and stole nearly $100 in change.


Robbery: Two men assaulted a carryout deliveryman on Blackfoot Court about 11 p.m. Friday and robbed him of $20.


Stolen vehicle : A 1999 Toyota Camry was stolen in the first block of Hollybrook Court on Saturday, and while it was being followed by a county police officer, the driver of the stolen vehicle struck another vehicle on Walther Boulevard and Dunfield Road and escaped on foot.
