Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Theft : A handicap placard was stolen over the weekend from a 2001 Hyundai parked in the 1600 block of N. Calvert St.

Theft: A global positioning system device valued at $300 was stolen over the weekend from a 2008 Honda Civic parked in the 100 block of W. Fayette St.

Robbery: Police were seeking two men, one armed with a knife, who robbed a deliveryman for an Asian carryout of food valued at $73 in the 2200 block of Eutaw Place about 11 p.m. Friday.


Burglary : Someone entered Kennedy Personnel Services in the 800 block of E. Baltimore St. through a window over the weekend and stole a computer and $300.

Bank robbery : Police were seeking a man who implied he was armed who robbed a Bank of America branch in the 3400 block of Eastern Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 3 p.m. Friday after giving a teller a holdup note.

Burglary: A laptop computer valued at $1,000 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 3000 block of Dillon St. by someone who entered through a rear door.


Shooting : A gunman was in the process of robbing a man in the 400 block of E. 33rd St. about 5 a.m. Saturday when he accidentally shot himself in a leg. The wounded gunman was arrested and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Robbery and handgun violation charges were pending his release from the hospital.

Burglaries: Two cars parked in the driveways of houses in the 5800 block of Hazelwood Ave. were broken into between Friday and Saturday. From one vehicle, the intruder removed sunglasses, cash, change and a cell phone. From the other, credit cards, a digital camera and an iPod were removed. Total valued of property taken from both vehicles was more than $1,200.

Burglary : A camcorder, jewelry and cash were removed Friday from the bedroom of a house in the 6800 block of Arverill Road by someone who entered through a door. The property was valued at $3,725.

Robbery: Two men, one with a shotgun and the other a machete, robbed Sizzle Carryout in the 4900 block of Hazelwood Ave. of $20 about 10 p.m. Friday. During the robbery, one employee was cut on the neck.


Thefts: At least six vehicles were broken into while parked between Friday and Saturday in the 200 block of Brackenwood Court. Taken was cash and CDs.

Robberies: Two males were skateboarding along Business Park Drive near Aylesbury Road about 10 p.m. Friday when three males, one armed with a knife, robbed them of two cell phones and $10.


Robbery: A gunman robbed a Speedy Mart in the 1600 block of Forest Park Ave. of more than $100 and at least one pack of cigarettes about 10 p.m. Saturday.
