A 2-year-old boy who was wounded when a gunman opened fire on a crowd outside a West Baltimore apartment building Monday night was released from the Johns Hopkins Children's Center yesterday, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
Steven Cole Jr. was one of two children struck in the attack outside Warwick Apartments in the 2400 block of Winchester St. Police attributed the 10 p.m. shootings to a dispute between gangs and said they were searching for a dark-colored sedan in which the gunman rode. Police said the children were shot with a .45-caliber handgun. Authorities said they have made no arrests.
