Mom had her day; now it's Dad's turn. During Father's Day weekend, the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa in New Mexico lets all fathers enjoy a round of golf and/or a horseback ride for free when accompanied by a paying adult. The resort also treats fathers to dinner Friday or Saturday evening, again when in the company of a paying adult. Father's Day weekend rates start at $295 per room per night. Prices are valid Friday-June 15, with tax and fees additional. Tamaya is between Albuquerque and Santa Fe on the Santa Ana Pueblo. (800-554-9288; tamaya.hyatt.com)

New York's four Affinia Hotels invite fans of Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda to its Sex and the City Girlfriend Getaway. Also included are a bottle of champagne, a Magnolia Bakery certificate for the same cupcakes Miranda purchased and a Sex and the City shoe bag for those stilettos we all can't do without. Good through Sept. 2, the two-person package starts at $389 for studio accommodations and $509 for a one-bedroom suite, plus tax and tips. (866-246-2203; affinia .com)

The bright lights of the City by the Bay contrast with the quiet charm of the wine country in the Town & Country Getaway offered by the Mandarin Oriental in San Francisco and Meadowood Napa Valley. The four-night escape kicks off with two nights at the Mandarin Oriental, featuring a dinner for two and daily breakfast for two. The focus then moves to quiet relaxation at Meadowood, with two nights' lodging, one dinner for two, daily breakfast, one spa treatment for each person and a private wine tasting. Prices start at $4,600 for two people, plus tax and tips, valid through Dec. 22. The package includes round-trip private car service between the San Francisco International Airport and the Mandarin Oriental. (800-458-8080; meadowood.com)

Among the luminaries performing at this year's Festival International de Jazz de Montreal are James Taylor, Chick Corea and Aretha Franklin. In sync with the June 26-July 6 fest are Jazz It Up! hotel packages that cover two nights' accommodations, daily breakfast, a festival T-shirt and shoulder bag, and a ticket to a concert in the Jazz d'ici La Presse or Rythmes Bell series. Prices vary by hotel choice, with about 50 hotels participating. Jazz It Up! at the Hyatt Regency Montreal, for example, starts at $290, while the Hotel Travelodge Montreal Centre faces the music with a $183 price. Rates are per person, with tax additional.
