Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Southwestern

Shooting: Police were seeking a gunman who fired several shots in the 3400 block of Clifton Ave. about 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, striking a 19-year-old man in the right foot as he and a male relative walked down the street. The victim and the relative got a ride to Sinai Hospital, where the victim was treated for a minor wound and was released. Police said the shooting did not appear to be related to the fatal shooting of Derrell E. Smith, 22, on Monday night in the 3100 block of Clifton Ave.

Central

Theft: A handicap placard was stolen Wednesday from a 1997 Ford truck parked in the 300 block of W. Saratoga St.

Theft: A radio and several CDs were stolen Wednesday from a vehicle parked in a garage in the 200 block of W. Lombard St. by a thief who broke a window.

Stolen vehicle : Police were seeking a blue 1996 Ford Crown Victoria with Virginia tag J2B 2340 that was stolen between Sunday night and early Monday in the 1200 block of Market Place.

Southeastern

Theft : A global positioning system device and a cell phone were stolen Tuesday from a 2005 Chevrolet van parked in the 2700 block of E. Fairmount Ave.

Theft: Someone broke a window on a 1997 Dodge truck parked in the 400 block of N. Haven St. on Wednesday and stole several CDs and power and hand tools. Total value of the property was nearly $1,400.

Eastern

Stabbing: Two men were fighting in the 2100 block of Aiken St. about 6 a.m. Wednesday when one man stabbed the other in the left arm with a knife. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and was released. There was no arrest.

Baltimore County

White Marsh

Theft: A global positioning system device and $5 in coins were stolen Tuesday or Wednesday from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a house in the 9700 block of Harvester Circle.

Burglary: A car was parked in the driveway of a house in the 9700 block of Bernard Lewis Court early Wednesday when someone entered it and used a remote control garage door opener to gain access to two other cars parked inside the garage. The intruder took $25 from the vehicles.

Essex

Burglary: An air compressor and a circular saw were stolen Tuesday from a storage container on Claire's Lane Farm Road. The property was valued at $3,600.

Robbery : Police were seeking a man armed with a handgun and a yellow crowbar who forced his way into a house in the first block of Vimy Court about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday and robbed the 25-year-old female occupant of $100.

Parkville

Burglary: Patio furniture valued at $500 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the first block of Benn Way.

Towson

Burglary: A 10-gallon shop vacuum, a lawn mower and a grass trimmer were stolen Tuesday or Wednesday from a shed in the 1800 block of Glen Keith Blvd.
