Player of the Year Brianna Jones Institute of Notre Dame

A four-year starter, Jones was IND's best all-around player. She batted .442 with three home runs, 17 runs scored and 19 RBIs.

"She had such confidence in her play, both at bat and in the field, and delivered numerous times in the clutch when the team really needed her," IND coach Greg Ehrmann said. "She played at a high level throughout the year and led our late season resurgence that culminated in us playing for the league championship."

Jones, a senior has been an Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference All Star the past two seasons. She will be attending Towson on a softball scholarship.

Coach of the Year Greg Ehrmann Institute of Notre Dame The Indians overcame a slow start and an injury to their top pitcher to advance to the IAAM A Conference title game, where they lost to No. 2 Archbishop Spalding. The Indians finished the season with a No. 10 ranking.

"The team rallied together, led by our senior leadership," Ehrmann said. "We began to get more consistent pitching and the defense settled down after making some position switches to address some weaknesses. The team caught fire at the right time."
