Banking and finance

* Bay National Bank announced that Bruce A. Hollander joined the Lutherville-based bank as senior vice president, commercial banking. He is responsible for Prince George's County. He formerly was with PNC Bank.

* The Adams Express Co. appointed Richard A. Church as a technology analyst for the Baltimore-based closed-end investment company. He formerly was with Collins Stewart LLC.

* BlueRidge Bank, the newly chartered Frederick County-based bank, selected Cathy L. Smith as vice president and banking office manager and named Donna Clayburn and Todd M. Bear as assistant managers.

* The Financial Consulate appointed Roger I. Bair III as a senior adviser for the Lutherville financial advisory firm. He formerly was with PSA Financial.

Health care

* The Delmarva Foundation for Medical Care named Malcolm R. Holley chief financial officer. He most recently was chief financial officer for the Masonic Home of Virginia.

* Medisolv named Ken McCormick vice president of client services for the Howard County-based provider of business intelligence and clinical decision support solutions to the health care industry.

Insurance

* RCM&D selected John Pierson as executive vice president. He leads firm's client development, new business production and strategic sales initiatives. The Towson-based insurance brokerage also appointed Sean Kelly and Ric Valentino as senior vice presidents.

Professional services

* Aon Consulting appointed Daniel Gardecki, retirement, and Terrence Pringle, health and benefits, as vice presidents in the firm's Baltimore office.
