Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Eastern

Robbery: A man, 57, was walking in the 2500 block of E. Preston St. about 9:30 p.m. Friday when he was assaulted by another man who robbed him of a cell phone and his wallet containing more than $100.

Robbery: Police were seeking an apparently unarmed man who attacked another man from the rear while the victim walked in the 1400 block of E. Madison St. about 9 p.m. Saturday and stole the victim's bike, valued at $50.

Robbery : A 30-year-old man was riding a mountain bike in the 1000 block of Ensor St. about 11:40 p.m. Saturday when another man struck him from behind and stole the bike. The bike was valued at $345.

Baltimore County

White Marsh

Burglary : Two lawn mowers were stolen between May 28 and yesterday from a shed in the 4400 block of Fullerton Ave. Total value of the property was $150.

Robbery : A man, 34, was about to enter his home in the first block of Sundown Court about 11:30 a.m. Saturday when two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed him of $100 and a cell phone. When the two men attempted to force the victim into his home, the victim shoved them aside, entered his home and called police. No arrests had been made.

Essex

Robbery : Police were seeking a man who robbed an elderly woman of her purse containing credit cards and $144 about 11:15 a.m. yesterday while the victim was exiting her car in the 3700 block of Holley Grove Road.

Burglary : Someone broke into a building owned by the county's Department of Recreation & Parks in the 2200 block of Rocky Point Road between Saturday and yesterday, entered an office and stole $75.

Parkville

Burglary : A bicycle valued at $50 was stolen yesterday from the front porch of a house in the 2600 block of E. Joppa Road.

Burglary : Someone broke into a shed in the 3700 block of Parkhurst Road by prying off a lock between May 24 and yesterday. They stole a power lawn mower valued at $250.

Towson

Burglary: Welding equipment of unknown value was stolen between May 17 and Saturday from a house in the 8600 block of Willow Oak Road by someone who entered through a rear door.

Cockeysville

Burglary: A 20-inch chain saw and a leaf blower were stolen between May 18 and May 23 from a shed in the 19000 block of Spooks Hill Road. The theft was reported yesterday and the value of the property was $740.

Franklin

Burglary: An iPod, cash, a watch, a cell phone and other property were stolen yesterday from a house in the 10000 block of Mill Run Circle in Owings Mills by someone who entered the house about 5 p.m. through a door while the occupant was sleeping.

Burglary: Three laptop computers, a computer monitor, $700 cash, speakers, a camera and a safe were stolen over the weekend from an apartment in the 300 block of Pleasant Drive by someone who entered through a sliding glass door.

Burglary: A TV, a sound system and watches were stolen between May 24 and yesterday from a house in the 300 block of Norgulf Road near Glyndon by someone who entered through a window. The property was valued at $900.
