Beavers had a double, triple, three runs scored and drove in a run.

Fort Hill scored five runs in the second inning and never looked back.

Class 2A

Easton 2, McDonough 1 -- Senior Ali Schmidt threw a three-hitter and Kris Durham provided the winning hit over the Rams of Charles County with a two-out, two-run single in the bottom of the third inning. It was the fourth state title for the Warriors (23-1) of Talbot County.
