Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Western

Victim identified : Police yesterday released the name of the man shot May 15 at Baker and North Mount streets as Marcellus Hall, 20, of the 1600 block of W. North Ave. Police responding to a report of a man shot about 9:45 p.m. found Hall lying in the street bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds. Hall died at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Northeastern

Assault/arrest : A man, 50, and his nephew, 17, were arguing over money in their home in the 2700 block of The Alameda about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday when the nephew struck his uncle with a stick and a flower pot. The nephew was arrested and charged as a juvenile with aggravated assault and was being held at the Juvenile Detention Center. The uncle was not injured.

Southeastern

Assault: Two male employees of a pallet firm in the 6600 block of Landay Ave. were arguing about 10 a.m. Tuesday when one struck the other with a piece of wood containing nails, causing lacerations to the victim's face and left arm. The victim, 21, refused medical treatment. A warrant has been issued for the other man's arrest on a charge of aggravated assault.

Theft: A global positioning device valued at $228 was stolen Tuesday from a 2008 GMC truck parked in the 500 block of N. Belnord Ave.

Stolen vehicle : Police were seeking an unidentified woman who stole a 1996 Toyota Camry with tags 4DL Z21 outside a Royal Farms store in the 6100 block of Holabird Ave. about 6 a.m. Tuesday. The keys were in the ignition.

Stolen vehicle : A man went into his house in the 300 block of Drew St. to retrieve his lunch about 5 a.m. Tuesday. When he left the dwelling he found that someone had stolen his 1991 Acura with tags 2CF L88.

Burglary: A .40-caliber, model 229 Sig Sauer semiautomatic handgun was stolen Monday from the bedroom of a house in the 6600 block of Bushey St.

Eastern

Burglary: While the occupant of a house in the 1300 block of Greenmount Ave. was in the process of moving to another dwelling between Saturday and Tuesday, someone stole a refrigerator, cabinets, plastic piping and a water heater.

Northern

Stolen vehicle : A white two-door 2000 Dodge with unknown temporary tags was stolen Monday or Tuesday in the 700 block of Gorsuch Ave.

Southern

Burglary: A copying machine was stolen Monday from an office at Holt Paper & Chemical Co. in the 1300 block of Western Ave.

Baltimore County

Essex

Burglary: Several pieces of jewelry and cash were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 7100 block of Greenbank Road.

North Point

Theft: Nearly 100 feet of aluminum fencing and two aluminum doors were stolen between May 15 and Tuesday from Beltway Glass & Mirror Co. in the 900 block of North Point Blvd. The property was valued at $8,460.

Burglary: Cash, a bucket and a hunting bow were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 7600 block of Dunman Way.

Woodlawn

Robbery: A man, 47, was about to place money into a night deposit at a bank in the 1700 block of North Rolling Road about 3 p.m. Tuesday when an unarmed man assaulted him, reached into his pocket and removed an undisclosed sum.

Burglary: Video games and their accessories were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 7400 block of Lexham Court.
