Motorcyclist dies of injuries

A motorcyclist who was involved in an accident May 5 near Annapolis has died of his injuries, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

Jerry Lynn Griffin, 22, of the 700 block of Cotswolde Quay Court in Severna Park was pronounced dead at 12:45 p.m. Saturday at Washington Hospital Center, police said yesterday.

Police said Griffin was operating a black 2008 Honda CBR1000 southbound on Ritchie Highway when it left the road near College Parkway and struck the side of a silver 2007 Toyota Yaris.
