Reservoir High to hold 3-lot yard sale June 21

Reservoir High School, 1550 Scaggsville Road, Fulton, is planning a yard sale, filling three adjoining school lots, and is seeking vendors and sellers. Advertising will be provided.

The yard sale will be from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 21.

Spaces cost $15 for one space; $5 for additional spaces. Concessions also are planned.

Patuxent plans walking tours

The Patuxent Research Refuge will offer a Refuge Walking Tour for youth ages 12 and older, and adults from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The tour includes a look at habitats and wildlife management in the refuge.

The refuge will offer a "Birding for the Blind" program from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. May 4 at the refuge's North Tract entrance.

PTAs to sponsor golf tournaments

The Parent Teacher Associations of Fulton Elementary and Lime Kiln Middle schools will sponsor a golf tournament Friday at Hampshire Greens Golf Course, 616 Firestone Drive, Silver Spring.

The cost for the shotgun-start, best-ball tournament is $110 for individuals; $420 for foursomes. Included are 18 holes of golf with cart, complimentary beverages (beer, soda and water), a 20 percent discount on pro shop items, a goody bag and awards.

The event concludes with a post-tournament buffet, raffle and silent auction. Sponsorships are available. The schools also are seeking items for the silent auction.
