Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Central

Theft -- A global positioning system device valued at $500 was stolen Thursday from a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban parked in the 200 block of Key Highway.

Theft -- A 1978 motorized scooter was parked in the rear of a house in the 1500 block of Mount Royal Terrace on Thursday when the owner heard it being driven away. The owner told police he had left the key in the ignition while he walked back into his house.

Southeastern

Theft -- Police were seeking a woman who stole a cell phone and its charger from the occupant of a house in the 1800 block of Fleet St. early Thursday.

Theft -- Copper piping valued at $8,000 was stolen Tuesday or Wednesday from outside a building under construction in Patterson Park.

Robbery -- A man, 35, was talking to someone in the 100 block of N. Clinton St. about 1 p.m. Thursday when another man ripped his wallet off a chain attached to his belt. The thief escaped with the wallet and cash -- all worth $80.

Eastern

Shooting -- Police were seeking the person who shot a man, 21, twice in the right arm about 11 a.m. Thursday while the victim walked in the 2500 block of E. Chase St. The man was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
