Perhaps the most athletic teams in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference, the Cardinals and host Greyhounds are among a handful capable of winning the league title. Gilman has the area's best junior class, which includes midfielders Jack Doyle and Greg McBride. Calvert Hall's Michael Brashears and Sean Maguire are bound for Towson. THE SUN'S PICK: GILMAN

SOFTBALL IND@Seton Keough Tomorrow, 4 p.m.

Each team has had an up-and-down season and is looking for a boost as the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference playoffs fast approach.
