University of Maryland junior Brian 'Eatin' Keaton hopes to chew through the competition at this weekend's Collegiate Nationals Eating Championship

He seemed a normal lad growing up in central New Jersey - quiet, studious, a bit of an appetite perhaps, but no predilection for superhuman feats.

Then he saw the TV show that changed his life.

Coverage of the Collegiate Nationals kicks off with a one-hour show on CBS College Sports Network at 2 p.m. May 25. It will include highlights of the eating competition and launch eight days of Olympic-style coverage of various events. The Eating Championship will be featured in shows at 8 p.m. May 30 and 8 p.m. June 10.
