One of three men shot Friday night on a West Baltimore street has died, police said yesterday.

The men were standing in the 1700 block of W. Lexington St. near Mount Street in the Franklin Square community about 9:30 p.m. when an unknown assailant fired several shots, hitting one man in the torso, another in a leg and the third in the buttocks.

Western District police responding to the shootings found one man, Anthony Izzard, 25, of the 900 block of W. Lombard St., who was shot in the torso, lying on the front steps of a nearby vacant house.

Police said Izzard was taken by ambulance to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he died about 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

The other victims, age 27 and age 28, were taken to an area hospital and were expected to survive.
