Alison Leslie Gold -- Montgomery College's "Books and Ideas" series continues with the author of Anne Frank Remembered. Gold's work about the Holocaust has been translated into 19 languages and adapted to theater and film. Gayle Westmoreland -- The author of Hands: Stop Shaking Them! will give a talk providing an analysis of the health hazards of this age-old gesture and offering alternatives. She will also talk about the history of the handshake, detail the concerns and risks, and describe salutations used in other cultures.
