Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Western

Shooting -- A man was shot in a leg in the 1800 block of Braddish Ave. about 6 p.m. yesterday by an unknown assailant and was treated at an area hospital. Details were not available.

Northeastern

Shooting -- Police continue to seek whoever shot a man, 21, in the head in the 4000 block of Erdman Ave. about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday. The victim was reported in good condition at an area hospital.

Northwestern

Shooting -- A man, 23, told police he was walking in the 4000 block of Boarman Ave. about 11:30 p.m. Monday when he was stopped by two men who asked if he was selling drugs. When the man said he was not and began to walk away, one of the other men shot him in the upper left leg. Early the next day, police went to a house on Cedarcroft Road, where they found the victim lyng on a couch and bleeding heavily from a bullet wound to the leg. The man was treated at an area hopsital and released.

Southern

Theft -- A purse containing credit cards and a checkbook was stolen Wednesday from a 2005 Hyundai Elantra parked in the 1100 block of Covington St. by someone who entered the vehicle after breaking a window.

Southeastern

Theft -- A GPS system and a wallet -- all valued at $300 -- were stolen Wednesday from a four-door 1998 Volvo parked in the 400 block of N. Glover St.

Robbery -- Police were seeking two men, one armed with a handgun, who entered a gas station in the 600 block of S. Luzerne Ave. about 7:15 a.m. Wednesday and forced a female employee to give them the contents of a cash register. The two men fled with an undisclosed sum.

Baltimore County

Parkville

Rape -- A woman, 32, was about to enter her Parkville home about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday when she was assaulted by a man who shoved her into her home and raped her. The woman was treated at an area hospital. Anyone with information about the man's identity is asked to call the precinct at 410-887-5310.

Burglaries -- Power tools valued at $650 were stolen between Tuesday and Wednesday from a garage in the 12000 block of Long Green Pike. During the same time period, someone broke into another garage on the same road and removed tools valued at $660.

Franklin

Burglary -- A stove, a TV and a DVD player -- all worth $800 -- were stolen between March 26 and Wednesday from a house in the 100 block of Shetland Circle by someone who entered through a window.
