Stephen G. Henderson

Stephen G. Henderson is a freelance writer based in New York. He writes frequently about design, food, travel and religion. He is an enthusiastic traveler who recently visited South Africa and wrote UniSun's cover story about his visit there. See Page 12.

Arnesa A. Howell

Arnesa A. Howell, a full-time freelance writer based in Washington, graduated from Howard University. Her work has appeared in such magazines as People, Heart & Soul, USA Weekend, Real Health and The Crisis. She talked with Susan L. Taylor, formerly of Essence magazine, who stopped in Baltimore recently to discuss her new mentoring initiative and new book, All About Love. See Page 10.

Ericka Blount Danois

Ericka Blount Danois is a native of Washington who lives in Baltimore. She has written for regional publications, including Baltimore magazine and The Washington Post. In this edition, Danois writes about Michael Spriggs, a high-school wrestler with a disability that doesn't stop him from being a high achiever. See Page 9.

Ovan Shortt
