Residents of the 7th District who wish to receive a House of Delegates scholarship application can call the delegates' office at 410-841-3334. Delegates' scholarships are not renewable, so recipients must reapply annually.
Businesses and organizations that provide scholarships for Harford and Baltimore County students also can give their information to Impallaria and McDonough, who will share that with students.
Glassman accepting applications for 2008
State Sen. Barry Glassman, a Harford Republican, is taking applications for his 2008 Senatorial Scholarship Program from students in the 35th District.
Applications are available at Glassman's Web site, www.barry glassman.com. The scholarship is open to high school seniors and adults pursuing higher education.
The deadline for applications is April 30.

Cooke foundation seeks applicants
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation's Young Scholars Program is seeking applicants for its nationwide scholarship program.
Seventh-graders with financial need are welcome to apply. Successful applicants receive educational advice, financial support for educational opportunities during high school and the chance to win a college scholarship.
Deadline for applications is May 5.
