A Pennsylvania woman died yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center of injuries she suffered when the pickup truck she was riding in was crushed by two trees during Saturday's storm, state police at the Bel Air barracks said.
Police said Fletcher R. Stine, 26, of Bethesda Church Road in Holtwood, Pa., was driving a 1994 Ford F-250 north on Route 136 near Broad Creek in Harford County about 4:40 p.m. Saturday when two large locust trees fell across the road and struck the passenger side of the truck.
Police said heavy rain and high winds contributed to the trees' falling.
