The board will have six members from the Harford County Economic Development Advisory Board's tourism subcommittee; three representatives from the local hotelier industry; one representative nominated by the Harford County Chamber of Commerce; and one representative each from the local athletic or sports industry, the food and beverage industry, local entertainment attractions, a local museum, the local parks and recreation industry and the Economic Development Agricultural Advisory Board.
Terms will be for four years, concurrent with the election of the county executive, and limited to two consecutive terms.
Board members will not receive a salary and may only be compensated for board business-related travel expenses. The board will meet at least quarterly or hold special meetings as required.
