A visit from `The Earl'

Hall of Fame manager Earl Weaver stopped by Fort Lauderdale Stadium yesterday, his second visit of the spring and his first exhibition game.

He sat next to club president Andy MacPhail in the first row of seats next to the Orioles' dugout and quickly drew a line of autograph seekers.

Many of them were older fans who remember the glory days when Weaver managed the team to its greatest success, but there were plenty of younger fans who know their Orioles history.
