Site -- Campus sites

When -- Tonight through March 14

Web site -- patriotleague.cstv.com

TV -- Championship game (March 14, 6 p.m.) will be on ESPN2.

Favorite -- Top seed American (10-4, 18-11).

State entry -- Second seed Navy (9-5, 16-13).

Outlook -- Navy's 9-5 conference record gives it a No. 2 seed along with its first legitimate chance to earn a trip to the NCAA tournament since the Midshipmen lost in the conference title game in 2001. Navy enters the tournament having won six of their past seven, and are led by Greg Sprink, the conference Player of the Year. Top seed American should also be in the mix, having won seven of their past eight behind leading scorer Garrison Carr, who averaged 21 points per game in conference play. Despite their No. 7 seed, Bucknell could play the role of spoiler, having beaten both Navy and American during the regular season.
