The Midshipmen (3-1) took a 2-0 lead after the first quarter on goals from Gregory Clement and Michael Beggins. The Mount (0-2) cut the lead in half when Geery Grant converted a feed by Joe Derwent (Glenelg) 2:51 into the second quarter.
Navy answered with three straight goals and led 5-2 at the half.
Jim O'Shea led the Mount with a career-high two goals and an assist.
Navy outshot the Mount 44-19 and held a 39-28 advantage in ground balls.

UMBC 15, Binghamton 8 -- UMBC's Ali Levendusky (John Carroll) scored a game-high six goals to lead the visiting Retrievers (2-2, 1-0) past the Bearcats (1-2, 0-1) in the America East opener for both teams.
Mount St. Mary's 16, St. Mary's (Calif.) 7 -- Katelyn Catanese had a career-high seven points (six goals and an assist) to lead the visiting Mount (2-2) past the Gaels (0-1). Catanese, who leads the team with 15 goals and two assists, had a natural hat trick 2:58 into the game.
