Beth Tfiloh edges Catholic in IAAM `C' quarterfinal

Beth Tfiloh made its free throws late in the game and defeated Catholic, 41-38, in an Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland C Conference quarterfinal matchup.

The Warriors made six free throws in the fourth quarter to pull away from the Cubs (10-7).

Rachel Schulder scored five of her 11 points in the quarter.

Park 61, St. Timothy's 35 -- The Bruins (17-2) rode a 19-4 first quarter to an easy victory over visiting St. Timothy's in IAAM C Conference semifinal play. Park scored the first 10 points of the game and led by as many as 31.

No. 2 St. Frances 67, Roland Park 17 -- Shatyra Hawkes (13 points) and Deanna Harmon (11 points) helped the Panthers cruise past the Reds in an IAAM A Conference quarterfinal game. Kandice Green had a team-high 12 rebounds for St. Frances (23-3).

Note -- All semifinals in the IAAM A, B and C Conferences scheduled for tomorrow have been moved to Friday.
