On February 7, 2008 HERMON LEE HAMMOND; beloved husband of Clara Hammond; devoted father of Jannie (Sue) Hammond, Robert and John Hammond, Terri Davis, Helen Cromwell and Hazel Terry. He is also survived by one sister, Flossie Hammond; two brothers, Samuel and Sterling Hammond; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation at the Howell Funeral Home, 4600 Liberty Heights Avenue, Wednesday, 2 to 7 P.M. FAMILY PRESENT 5 TO 7 P.M. Mr. Hammond will lie in state at the Wilson Park C.C. Church, 4629 York Road, Thursday, 9 A.M. Family hour 11 A.M. Homegoing celebration 11:30 A.M.
