A 20-year-old Prince George's County man has been charged with killing a Baltimore man parked last week in front of a home near Arundel Mills mall.

Anne Arundel County police said yesterday that Marvin Craig Little of Capital Heights spoke with the victim, Derrin Davon Thomas, 27, on a cell phone before his death. Investigators said they matched Little's fingerprints on the phone with those recovered from the victim's pickup truck.

Thomas was found Jan. 10 suffering from gunshot wounds in the driver's seat of his Ford F-150 in the 7700 block of Rotherham Drive, an upscale community in Hanover. Witnesses saw a suspect flee in a silver- or gold-colored car.

Officers from the county police homicide unit and special enforcement team, as well as Prince George's County police and the U.S. Marshals Service, found Little in the 3400 block of Brinkley Ave. in Temple Hills on Thursday.

He struck a federal marshal's vehicle in an attempt to escape before being taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder.

The investigation is continuing, and police are offering a reward of up to $2,000.

Anyone with information was asked to call 410-222-3415 or the county tip line at 410-923-4543.
