Man stabbed in Carroll

A Carroll County teenager is accused of stabbing his brother yesterday, sending him to Maryland Shock Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries, police said.

Taneytown police officers were dispatched to the 100 block of E. Baltimore St. about 1 p.m. yesterday, police said. When they arrived, they found Jason T. Blizzard, 23, with at least one chest wound.

They arrested his brother, Ryan W. Blizzard, 16, and charged him as an adult with attempted murder and assault. Several witnesses were being questioned, police said.
