The Consuming Interests column in yesterday's Business section incorrectly stated Discover Card's rules regarding minimum purchases when paying by credit card. Discover forbids merchants from requiring a minimum charge for consumers who want to pay with their credit card.

An item in yesterday's Business Digest misspelled the name of the German bank that owns DEG, a development finance company that provided $20 million in loans for Chindex International Inc. of Bethesda to develop two new hospitals in China. The bank is KfW banking group in Cologne.

The Sun regrets the errors.
