Shooting -- Police continue to seek the gunman who shot a man, 27, in the lower torso about 8:20 p.m. Thursday in the 1700 block of Harford Ave. in the community of Oliver. The victim, whose name was not released, was found inside Stop, Shop & Save, a block from the shooting scene, and was taken by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Hospital. Anyone with information is urged to call the district's detective unit at 410-396-2433.

Burglary -- Cash, jewelry and a camera - all of unknown value - were stolen Thursday from a house in the 2200 block of E. Preston St. by someone who entered through the basement.

Burglary -- A cell phone, video games and a cell phone charger were stolen Thursday from a house in the 1300 block of Ensor St. Police said entry was through a rear kitchen door and that the intruder ransacked the dwelling, including tearing apart a mattress, looking for valuables.
