PHILADELPHIA -- It was a record-setting performance for the Blast. However, it was not the type of record that will be memorable.

The Blast (6-6) fell, 4-0, to the Philadelphia KiXX in the Major Indoor Soccer League last night before an announced 6,313 at the Wachovia Spectrum, suffering its first shutout since the team began play in the 1992-93 season.
