Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Southern

Homicide victim named -- Police yesterday identified Linwood Colvin, 28, of the 2600 block of Carver Road in Cherry Hill as the man shot about 12:20 a.m. New Year's Day during a robbery a few blocks from his home in a house in the 800 block of Bethune Road. Colvin died about 1 a.m. Tuesday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. No arrest had been made. Police said the killing was the city's first this year.

Robbery -- Police were seeking a man who entered Cluck U Chicken in the 2000 block of W. Patapsco Ave. about 9:45 p.m. Monday, pulled out a handgun and pointed it at an employee while demanding money. The gunman fled with an undisclosed sum.

Theft -- An iPod of unknown value was stolen Monday between 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. from a 2006 Dodge Caravan parked in the 600 block of Archer St. by someone who forced open the driver-side door.

Assault -- A boy, 16, was attacked by three other youths about 4 p.m. Monday at South Pulaski and Eagle streets and was stabbed in the left arm. The victim was treated at Bon Secours Hospital and was released. There were no arrests.

Eastern

Carjacking -- A woman, 26, was about to get into her car after attending church services in the 1300 block of Darley Ave. about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday when a man armed with a knife stole her keys and drove off in her 2002 Dodge Caravan. A short distance away, the man lost control of the van and struck three other vehicles before he ran off.

Robbery/arrest -- A 16-year-old boy was arrested early Monday, accused of robbing his former girlfriend of nearly $100 in the 1100 block of Proctor St. The robbery was witnessed by a police officer who arrested the boy.

Theft -- Someone stole both tags off a 1992 Toyota Camry in the 2100 block of Aisquith St. between Dec. 25 and Tuesday. The tag number is 4DR Z24.

Northwestern

Stolen vehicle -- A black 2002 Mitsubishi Galant with tags 7BJ N49 was stolen Sunday or Monday in the 3900 block of Parkview Ave.

Baltimore County

White Marsh

Theft -- Police were seeking three teenage males who drove off in a white sport utility vehicle about 7 p.m. Tuesday after stealing clothing valued at nearly $500 from a store at White Marsh Mall.

North Point

Thef -- Video games and an electronic adapter -- together valued at $225 -- and $35 cash were stolen Tuesday morning from a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica sport utility vehicle in the 900 block of A Ave.

Robbery -- A woman, 50, was walking her dog in the 1600 block of Four Georges Court about 8 a.m. Tuesday when a man armed with a handgun demanded her money. The woman gave the man $200 and the gunman fled on foot.

Towson

Burglary -- On Monday night or early Tuesday, someone entered an apartment in the 100 block of Stonewain Court and stole an iPod, medication, 15 digital video discs and a scrapbook.

Cockeysville

Burglary -- At least 30 cartons of cigarettes and more than two dozen packs of cigarettes were stolen Monday night or Tuesday from the BP service station in the 11400 block of York Road.

Pikesville

Robbery -- A man, 51, was walking in the 3700 block of Twin Lakes Court about 10 p.m. Tuesday when two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed him of his coat, a cell phone and more than $100.

Buglary -- Several pieces of jewelry, cash and video games and accessories were stolen Monday between noon and 10 p.m. from a house in the 3200 block of Katewood Court.
