County police seek five sex offenders

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is seeking these registered sex offenders for failing to comply with registry requirements:

Jeffrey Anthony Feagins, 41, last known address of 247 Candlelight Lane, Glen Burnie.

John Herbert Bodley, 51, last known address of 810 Brooke Court Apt. A, Annapolis.

Clifton Darnell Thompson, 43, last known address of 3714 Claymont St., Laurel.

The following offenders never registered with Anne Arundel County and are wanted on outstanding warrants:

James Roman Butler, 41, last known address of 700 N. Avondale Road, Dundalk.

Louis Elmer Torreyson, 28, last known address of 133 S. Market St., Apt. 1, Frederick.

Three hundred twenty-five sex offenders are registered in Anne Arundel County, and in September, the department's Sex Offender Registry Squad sought to verify the address of each one.

It found 287 offenders were in compliance, 23 were in jail, 11 were not in compliance and 11 more were charged on warrants.

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of the men is urged to call the Sex Offender Registry Squad at 410-222-3457 or after hours at 410-222-8610.

Burglar strikes Annapolis home

A burglar stole a guitar, jewelry case and laptop computer from an Annapolis home, city police said.

A resident of the 100 block of Monticello Avenue told police that the home had been broken into sometime between Monday and Thursday, while she was away.

Crownsville man beaten, robbed

A Crownsville man was beaten and robbed in the parking lot of the I-97 Business Park in Millersville, Anne Arundel County police said.

The victim, 50, told police that he was waiting for a co-worker outside the office complex at 1120 Benfield Blvd. about 5:50 p.m. Thursday when two men approached him.

One asked him for a cigarette, and when the victim reached to retrieve one from his pocket, the second man struck him in the back of the head with an unknown object. He fell to the ground and his assailants assaulted him, took his money and fled.

The victim was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center for examination.

Man charged with selling drugs

An Annapolis man was charged with selling drugs after police watched a transaction take place on West Washington Street, city police said.

Carl Lester Sellman, 26, of Gross Avenue was seen tossing a plastic bag when approached by officers about 8:45 p.m. Thursday. The bag held 5.5 grams of cocaine. Police also seized $294.
