Girls Asya Bussie Seton Keough, basketball

6-foot-3 junior center faced some of her most formidable post opponents last week and led the No. 1 Gators to four wins. She averaged 12.8 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.8 blocks in wins over No. 4 Arundel, No. 6 McDonogh, Towson Catholic and Mount de Sales. She had 10 points and 14 rebounds in the win at Arundel and 22 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks at McDonogh. Bussie, an All-Metro selection last winter, averages 15 points and 11 rebounds for the 10-0 Gators. She has a 3.2 grade point average and played Amateur Athletic Union ball last summer with the Maryland Magic.

Boys Cody Rosen-Stone Owings Mills, wrestling

Rosen-Stone went 3-0 last week for the Eagles, all pins. His third win, Thursday against New Town, was the 100th in his four-year varsity career.

The three victories improved his season record in the 140-pound division to 11-2, eight via pins, and 100-17 in his career. He won the Perry Hall tournament the week before.

Rosen-Stone was a Baltimore County champion last year as a junior and a two-time region champion who finished sixth in the states.

Rosen-Stone also plays soccer and baseball and will have earned 12 varsity letters by graduation. He also excels in the classroom, where he has a 3.8 grade point average.
